    MARIA ALBULESCU 10/27/2020 3:16 AM
Gratitude is simply taking time to think about all the positive things in your life. Rather than ruminating on the negatives.
Research shows it is the single most powerful method of increasing happiness.
Having an attitude of gratitude doesn’t cost any money. It doesn’t take much time. But the benefits of gratitude are enormous.
Positive psychology research has shown that gratitude touches on many aspects of our lives. Our emotions. Personality. Social dynamics. Career success and health. All of these can contribute to increasing our basic happiness.

  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Action Track: Justice for the Whole Community Watch a Documentary about Racial Injustice
What did you learn about racial injustice in the documentary(ies) you watched? How does what you learned connect to your understanding of sustainability?

    MARIA ALBULESCU's avatar
    MARIA ALBULESCU 10/27/2020 3:07 AM
The movements for racial justice and for environmental sustainability are inextricably linked, since communities of color are  disproportionately impacted by climate change and have not always benefited from climate and clean energy programs.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Waste Learn About & Practice Sustainable Fashion
How can you express your personality, creativity, and values in ways that don't require fast fashion or buying more clothes and accessories?

    MARIA ALBULESCU's avatar
    MARIA ALBULESCU 10/26/2020 1:59 PM
Working from home helps me save all the money I used to spend on clothes. I'm wearing clothes that I haven't wore in a long time and mixing them in ways that make them look different all the time.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION

    MARIA ALBULESCU's avatar
    MARIA ALBULESCU 10/25/2020 6:49 PM
Understanding the need to forgive is the first step in the process! Forgiveness has a positive impact on emotional health, well-being, and empathy for others.
