REFLECTION QUESTIONAction Track: Justice for the Whole Community Support Native CommunitiesIndigenous speaker and activist Winona LaDuke says that, "most indigenous ceremonies, if you look to their essence, are about the restoration of balance — they are a reaffirmation of our relationship to creation. That is our intent: to restore, and then to retain balance and honor our part in creation." Why is balance important to sustainability?
Sherry Liptan 10/28/2020 6:33 PMI have learned from being a home gardener the importance of balance. You can create a garden that flourishes using the relationship of the fruits and vegtables. Using a no dig method along with cardboard and compost created a rich soil with so many worms. -

REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth More Fruits and VeggiesHow does eating more fruits and vegetables and less meat positively affect yourself, other people, and our planet?
Sherry Liptan 10/17/2020 9:01 AMEating more fruits and vegtables has reduced the number of processed foods I consume. My sugar intake has also gone down. This has the effect of me having less packaging waste, good for the planet and other people. My craving for processed foods like chips, ice cream, cookies, ect. is going away, good for me. -

Sherry Liptan 10/15/2020 8:49 PMI feel less stressed now that I am not looking at as much social media. My mind thinks it will settle me down or sooth me to look at it, but it often has the oppisite effect. -
