    Niji Ohno's avatar
    Niji Ohno 10/28/2020 9:43 PM
Equality for trans, femme, and nonbinary people is important to a just and sustainable society as without equity, there will be systemic oppression, which will prioritize profit over people.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Action Track: Justice for the Whole Community Support Businesses Owned by People of Color
A recent Keen Independent Research Foundation study found that Minority Businesses Enterprises (MBEs) are more likely to have difficulties in receiving loans or city contracts. In what ways can you work to address systemic racism like that demonstrated in this study?

    Niji Ohno's avatar
    Niji Ohno 10/13/2020 9:34 PM
Voting is important as it leads to systemic change, which is stronger than any one person's efforts.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Action Track: Justice for the Whole Community Watch a Documentary about Racial Injustice
What did you learn about racial injustice in the documentary(ies) you watched? How does what you learned connect to your understanding of sustainability?

    Niji Ohno's avatar
    Niji Ohno 10/13/2020 9:33 PM
