REFLECTION QUESTIONWaste Advocate For More Food Packaging OptionsWhat concerns you the most about how we are affecting the planet? Consider both local and global actions.
Shelly Pankey 10/27/2020 6:04 PMWe waste to much with types of packaging..companies need to rethink promoting the packaging with recycled or recycling options. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Whole Foods DietMichael Pollan states that “it is better to pay the grocer (our edit: or the farmer!) than the doctor.” What are your thoughts on this assertion?
Shelly Pankey 10/07/2020 3:13 PMMichael Pollan also said "Don't eat anything your great-grandmother wouldn't recognize a food". If your Great Grandmother is still alive then definitely listen to her. It's better to eat healthy rather than visiting the doctor for problems later. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Reduce Animal ProductsWhy do people in richer countries eat more meat than people in other places? How does eating more meat affect our planet and other people?
Shelly Pankey 10/07/2020 2:57 PMMeat is more expensive. Having meat effects our environment, economy and our health. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONCommunity Help OthersIn your opinion, how do social inequalities diminish a strong sense of community?
Shelly Pankey 10/07/2020 2:49 PMDon't look to be negative. We are all equal. If someone needs your help then reach out to them. -

REFLECTION QUESTIONCommunity Support A Sharing EconomyWhat benefits does a sharing economy offer to your own life? What benefits does it off to your neighbors' and community members' lives?
Shelly Pankey 10/07/2020 2:34 PMWe have a mini garden in our neighborhood where neighbors switch off to take care of and anyone in need of food can help themselves. -
