Do at Home
I will reduce the amount of water flushed and save up to 11 gallons (41 L) of water each day by installing a toilet tank bank.
Action Track: Justice for the Whole Community
Self-designed course studying Racial Justice Issues,
I am spending one hour a day (several months now) on most days, reading articles; watching films, lectures, podcasts, webinars; reading fiction and non-fiction, current and historical accounts about the history of colonialism and racism in our country. Mainly addressing Black issues now, but also Indigenous, immigrant, Asian, and other histories of oppression.
Community
Greening You’re Life FB page
Last year I started a Facebook page for people to support each other in reducing and eliminating single use plastic in their lives. This evolved into a more general environmental approach, addressing many areas of working toward sustainability. We share information, articles, ideas, frustrations, etc. There are presently 509 members. I am the admin.
