  • REFLECTION QUESTION

    Maryam Taylor's avatar
    Maryam Taylor 10/28/2020 11:41 AM
Eligible voters may receive threatening emails from other parties, which could discourage them to vote. One way is to stop voter suppression.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Action Track: Justice for the Whole Community Support Native Communities
Indigenous speaker and activist Winona LaDuke says that, "most indigenous ceremonies, if you look to their essence, are about the restoration of balance — they are a reaffirmation of our relationship to creation. That is our intent: to restore, and then to retain balance and honor our part in creation." Why is balance important to sustainability?

    Maryam Taylor 10/28/2020 11:35 AM
When we have a balance of well-being and quality of life, we will maintain and achieve full sustainability.

  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Transportation Work From Home
It takes the average worker in the United States 26 minutes to travel to work. One way to fix long commutes would be to make cities more affordable. An even simpler option: promote the use of telework. How have you used technology to replace in-person meetings or work this year?

    Maryam Taylor's avatar
    Maryam Taylor 10/28/2020 10:20 AM
This has been easy with Covid, I'm doing virtual presentations weekly instead of in person lunch'n learns and try to call clients for project meetings. Low milage record this year!
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Transportation Car Share
Take a moment to think of places you frequent often (work, grocery store, school, natural areas). Could you choose one or two days a week to schedule driving with a friend, neighbor or co-worker to these places?

    Maryam Taylor's avatar
    Maryam Taylor 10/28/2020 10:17 AM
I get my groceries delivered knowing the driver is making several deliveries in one route. On the weekends, we try to do activities that don't involve getting in our car.  An example is going on a hike from our house or walking to the park.
