  • REFLECTION QUESTION

What are the most prominent water concerns in your area? Examples include drought, flooding, pollution, access, security, and privatization.

Currently drought, there isn't enough water for gardening during summer.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Waste Use Reusable Bags
What do you do if you find yourself in the situation of needing a bag for items but don't have a reusable one with you or aren't allowed to use the one you brought? Carry things out in your hands? In a cart? Accept a disposable one? If you find yourself in this position often, what system could you put in place to try to create a successful habit of not using plastic bags?

If it is just a small amount of items, I can carry it in my hands. But when I need to carry the whole shopping cart, I buy a paper bag. In 90% of situations, I have my own reusable bag with me.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Waste Use a Reusable Water Bottle
While water bottles are needed for health and safety in certain places, we can do more to reduce the unnecessary use of them. What are the barriers to you using reusable bottles and tap water instead of bottled water? How could you make this a permanent habit?

I prefer reusable bottles but sometimes it happens that I forget mine or it is suddenly empty. Then it is better for me to just buy a new water bottle than tapping water in untrusted areas.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Transportation Walk Instead
Half of all trips made in the US are three miles or less; 72% of them are driven. Does this statistic describe your own transportation habits? If so, how might you incorporate more muscle-powered transportation in your daily life?

I go outside for a walk or just to a playground with my little one every day. We usually walk or go by a bus to our classes.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Transportation Work From Home
It takes the average worker in the United States 26 minutes to travel to work. One way to fix long commutes would be to make cities more affordable. An even simpler option: promote the use of telework. How have you used technology to replace in-person meetings or work this year?

Thanks to the pandemic situation, I have been working from home since April. The result of that is lots of saved time instead of wasting time in the public transport.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Nature Go for a Daily Walk
How do you experience your neighborhood or city differently when walking instead of driving?

You have much more time to feel the spirit of your neighborhood, watch people and nature and to notice anything unusual.
