    Our ability to recycle certain things ebbs and flows based upon many factors, including market demand for recyclables. Luckily there are places that accept uncommon things to recycle or dispose of in a less harmful way. What did you find when looking for places to recycle items that can't be recycled in your curbside bin?

    I found that a lot of businesses I already do to are the same place I can recycle at- like my grocery store takes thin plastics or best buy takes small electronics.

    We have a lot of forest preserves near us and plan to explore as many as we can this winter.

    I've always enjoyed buying clothes from thrift stores but it's hard to find specific items sometimes. I discovered online secondhand shopping options that make it really easy to find very specific items you are looking for.

    Way too much spent on ordering dinner out when we feel crunched for time. Planning ahead and meal prepping help cut down.
