REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Zero-Waste CookingIn North America, up to 65% of food waste happens at the consumer level. Chef Steven Satterfield advocates for using every part of a vegetable. How can you incorporate using an entire vegetable (including the skins, tops, stalks, etc.) during your next meal prep?
Donovan Acuna 10/11/2020 12:50 PMAfter I peel/cut the veggie, I could use the stems and things to grind up and make into a sauce, or if I had a juice I could juice it. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Plant an Herb GardenConsider the ways you can garden: a plot of land? a patio container? hanging basket? windowsill gardens? What would work best for your living situation and lifestyle?
Donovan Acuna 10/11/2020 12:49 PMMy best situation would be utilizing this planter in the backyard. It's been mocking me for a while.
