I live with my 2 son´s who are young adults. we divide the cooking during the week and its nice to see how they are cooking cleaner and also using either the organic food we have planted at home or the one we buy to a local farmer.
It was son ´s birthday and he wanted me to cook for him. We use the lettuce we have been cultivating for the salad, along with the cilantro and it was very tasty!
Since I started having whole foods for morning or afternoon snacks, I have noticed an improvement on my digestion. Its amazing what fiber does to your body!
I feel happy as I have managed to stick to most of the challenges I took on, plus I still do the ones I was already doing such as recycling, buying second hand clothes instead of buying new ones, and other activities, however I must confess that going out for walks its a complicated one for me right now as it has not been safe outside due to country riots, so instead I started following a simply in house routine to at least stay active.
Cooking is the way we demonstrate love to other and to yourself. So now that are more at home due to the pandemic, its the perfect time to start putting your cooking skills to practice or learning how to cook. In my house, we have divided the cooking among my 2 young adults sons and we plan the recipes over the weekend to ensure we buy all the ingredients to be able to cook healthy. Here is a home made chicken soup for a rainy Saturday night. and organic food, meaning, if you plan and ensure you have what you need, its easier to cook instead of buying prepared food outside.
Consider the ways you can garden: a plot of land? a patio container? hanging basket? windowsill gardens? What would work best for your living situation and lifestyle?
I have a new puppy so it was hard to plan my cilantro, lettuce and celery as he was playing with the soil, so I got some plastic pots, made holes to the base and plant them there and place them at my window
I felt so good reviewing the list of available options, as I realize I already a lot of the things listed here, so I feel proud and that I am on the right track. Many interesting options here to improve and become even better! Love this!
