REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Weekly Meal PlanningAn average American throws out about 240 lbs of food per year. The average family of four in the US spends $1,500 a year on food that they throw out. Does this surprise you? Where would you rather use this money?
Katherine Adye 10/28/2020 12:17 PMI'm not surprised that a lot of food gets thrown out, but the number here (240 lbs/year, which is about 4.6 lbs/week/person) is more than I expected. I already try to minimize the amount of food I waste, and the money I save goes towards any number of things that make me happy (like buying fancy ingredients to try new recipes). -

Katherine Adye 10/26/2020 10:12 AMI've been combining time with friends and exercise by doing dance workouts. It's much more fun to do them with a couple other people instead of by yourself.
