    Food Weekly Meal Planning
An average American throws out about 240 lbs of food per year. The average family of four in the US spends $1,500 a year on food that they throw out. Does this surprise you? Where would you rather use this money?

I'm not surprised that a lot of food gets thrown out, but the number here (240 lbs/year, which is about 4.6 lbs/week/person) is more than I expected. I already try to minimize the amount of food I waste, and the money I save goes towards any number of things that make me happy (like buying fancy ingredients to try new recipes).

How can you incorporate other personal values (like quality time with friends or spending time in nature) into your exercise routine?

I've been combining time with friends and exercise by doing dance workouts. It's much more fun to do them with a couple other people instead of by yourself.
