REFLECTION QUESTIONAction Track: Healing and Renewal Engage In Active ListeningWhat was it like to actively listen to someone? How did both people and the conversation(s) benefit from active listening?
Malaya Brannon 10/27/2020 2:27 PMIt's good to actively listen to someone because you would want them to actively listen to you when you're talking. Knowing that you guys both are actively listening will make a better conversation. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONTransportation Research and Consider Switching to a Hybrid or Electric VehicleReducing (or eliminating) exhaust emissions and improving public health are two benefits of green vehicles. What other motivators inspire you to consider switching to a more fuel-efficient vehicle?

REFLECTION QUESTIONWaste Use a Reusable MugMaybe you've heard how good it is to switch from a single use coffee cup to a reusable one, but it's just hard to make the switch. What stands in your way of making this a habit? By identifying the challenges, you can begin to work through them to have better success in taking this action. Knowing the difference you are making, how does it make you feel?
Malaya Brannon 10/27/2020 1:36 PMIt makes me feel good that I am contributing to change because using a reusable coffee cup makes a big change even though it seems little. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONWaste Use Reusable BagsWhat do you do if you find yourself in the situation of needing a bag for items but don't have a reusable one with you or aren't allowed to use the one you brought? Carry things out in your hands? In a cart? Accept a disposable one? If you find yourself in this position often, what system could you put in place to try to create a successful habit of not using plastic bags?
Malaya Brannon 10/27/2020 1:32 PMEvery time I go grocery shopping I bring my set of reusable bags for my groceries and If I forget them then I use a paper bag. I never use plastic bags. -

REFLECTION QUESTIONWaste Use a Reusable Water BottleWhile water bottles are needed for health and safety in certain places, we can do more to reduce the unnecessary use of them. What are the barriers to you using reusable bottles and tap water instead of bottled water? How could you make this a permanent habit?
Malaya Brannon 10/11/2020 6:10 PMSome barriers may include remembering to use the water bottle but I can make this a permanent habit by buying a hydro flask. Since its so expensive I'm definitely going to remember to use it. It's a good investment.
