Health
Happiness
Do at Home
I will write down three things every day that I am grateful for, or send one email every day thanking or praising someone.
Health
Take Control
Do at Home
Both systemic and personal sustainability are important! I will develop a plan with my medical professionals to achieve my best health and live my life to the fullest.
Waste
Choose Two-Sided Printing
Do at Home
I will save up to .21 lbs (.09 kg) of paper per day by switching from one-sided printing to two-sided when I have to print documents.
Waste
Reduce Single-Use Disposables
Do at Home
Historically, marginalized and low-income communities live closer to landfills, contributing to a multitude of health problems. I will find out how I can limit single-use items and do my best to limit the waste I generate. I will keep 5 container(s) out of the landfill each day.
Health
Nurture Self-Compassion
Do at Home
I will spend 5 minutes nurturing my Self-Compassion.
Health
More Fruits and Veggies
Do at Home
I will eat a heart healthy diet by adding 3 cup(s) of fruits and vegetables each day to achieve at least 4 cups per day.
Action Track: Justice for the Whole Community
Offset for Climate Justice
Do at Home
Greenhouse gases found in old refrigerants are up to 10,900 times more potent than carbon dioxide. I will help eliminate these gases through the purchase of offset credits to ensure we all have a planet we can thrive on.
Participant Feed
Reflection, encouragement, and relationship building are all important aspects of getting a new habit to stick.
Share thoughts, encourage others, and reinforce positive new habits on the Feed.

Martha Burnett 10/20/2020 11:40 AMNote to all don't forget to unplug and recharge. Unplug is get off of all electronics devices, try 5 minutes a day and increase as you go-
Gretchen Egging 10/20/2020 4:56 PMMy eye doctor wanted me to use a steam eye mask for 15 minutes before bed every night. At first, it was hard to even go 15 minutes to disconnect, and now I look forward to that relaxing time before bed. I'm not sure why I was complaining about a relaxing steam mask. :)

Martha Burnett 10/20/2020 11:25 AMI joined to let others know to make change in you life, can be made permanent by scheduling time. After work I put on my tennis shoe and walk a mile or 2. It doesn't matter if one day you only have 15 minutes that is ok -
