Karla Campos 10/27/2020 2:26 PMI have accomplished a lot during these past 21 days. I have my own herb and vegetable garden. I have plenty of rain water to water my plants in the next 3 weeks. My compost is now a place to grow and feed worms. I feel that I'm ready to be more inclusive with people that have different believes and culture. I can't thank enough the company for signing to this type of events. -
Karla Campos 10/23/2020 1:28 PMI'm starting to feel a stronger connection with mother earth than before. This challenge is making a good impact on my family. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth Learn More about Food ApartheidWhat can lack of access to nutritious food affect a community? How can having access to nutritious food help a community become more resilient?
Karla Campos 10/22/2020 2:17 PMhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xh6SPgeJJs8 Worth to watch. We are so lucky in Costa Rica to have abundance of nutritious food. People that don't have access to it, may suffer health issues and that same people may not have money to amend fast and properly. What you eat is what your are. Can you imaging not eating properly? No having even one healthy food per week or per month? -
Karla Campos 10/22/2020 2:08 PMGo to Manage-Actions and check the things you already did or have done or thins that you already do as part of your daily life. You can earn 1 point for checking those. -
Karla Campos 10/22/2020 2:05 PMI'm excited about all I have learned during these past days. We only have 6 days left! Let's keep up the good work. -
Karla Campos 10/22/2020 2:04 PMOnly cook what you will eat. Cook less rice, less beans, less of everything. When we throw food in the garbage we throw water, packaging, energy and money that was used to make the product. We also throw our own money and make more unnecessary waste some where. -
Karla Campos 10/21/2020 5:10 PMWow... we only have seven days left... with this challenge. Let's keep tracking and logging our daily progress. -
Karla Campos 10/21/2020 5:08 PMI have been collecting rain water to water my plants. Is just incredible how much water we waste watering plants when we use a hose. I never paid attention to it until now that I stopped using the hose and pouring water from a plastic container that I'm filling out with rain water. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONNature Support Local PollinatorsWhy is it important to take care of pollinators?
Karla Campos 10/19/2020 7:54 PMThey hold the key of our future. Without pollinators we couldn't be able to harvest fruits and vegetables.
