Action Track: Justice for the Whole Community
Research Voter Suppression
Do at Home
I will spend at least 60 minutes finding out what local laws, policies, and practices keep people from voting in my community.
Water
5-Minute Showers
Do at Home
I will save up to 20 gallons (75 L) of water each day by taking 5-minute showers.
Water
I will reduce multiple dishing washing and will instead utilize a high efficency dishwasher only 3x/week.
I recognized that my household washes dishes and such in the moment. After seeing an advert on TV we realized that by using our new high efficiency dishwasher a couple of times per week we could potentially save significant water usage.
Water
Conserve Toilet Water
Do at Home
I will save up to 12 gallons (45 L) of water a day by flushing only when necessary.
Health
Go Get a Check Up
I will make an appointment for my annual physical.
Health

Health
Happiness

REFLECTION QUESTIONAction Track: Justice for the Whole CommunityWhat are the ways in which voters are prohibited from or discouraged from voting in your region and/or state? What could be done to get rid of these barriers?
Tom Cooney 10/18/2020 8:05 AMMy state instituted vote-by-mail several years ago with great success. I think this should/will become the norm across the country.
I continue to read about voting processes in other states and around the world and am reminded of the large gap in approach.
Why, if voting is the greatest ideal in America are we so adverse to it?
