Michelle's actions
Waste
Use a Reusable Water Bottle
Do at Home
I will keep 3 disposable plastic bottle(s) from entering the waste stream by using a reusable water bottle.
Community
Support Comerica's National Day of Service
As an extension to Comerica's National Day of Service in September, consider conducting a virtual volunteer action that supports our communities. Since there are no organized in-person river, beach or lake clean-ups in most communities this year, if you would like, you can consider cleaning up around your house and neighborhood to support your local environment as neighborhood storm drains commonly drain to local water bodies. Please do not invite others outside of your household if you choose this action.
Waste
Skip the Straw
Do at Home
Plastic bags and small plastic pieces like straws are most likely to get swept into our waterways. I will keep 2 plastic straw(s) out of the landfill and ocean each day by refusing straws or using my own glass/metal straw.
Action Track: Justice for the Whole Community
Watch a Documentary about Racial Injustice
Do at Home
I will watch 1 documentary(ies) about systemic racism.
Participant Feed
Reflection, encouragement, and relationship building are all important aspects of getting a new habit to stick.
Share thoughts, encourage others, and reinforce positive new habits on the Feed.
To get started, share “your why.” Why did you join the challenge and choose the actions you did?

Michelle Danks 10/16/2020 7:00 AMHalf way through this challenge. Are the actions you've chosen becoming habits yet?-
Kristin Bloser 10/16/2020 9:33 AMI am starting to get into a walking routine, which is good for me. How about you?

Michelle Danks 10/08/2020 9:38 AMCompleting the daily actions has become easy. I chose some that were already a habit and a few others that would be more challenging so they become habits.
