    What single-use items (e.g. straws, coffee cups, vegetable bags, plastic bags) do you regularly use? What did you substitute or could be substituted instead?

    I regularly use coffee cups or plastic bags. In an attempt to cut down on single use items, I began using reusable mugs and if I do not bring my own, paper bags.

    In New York, much of the local waterways are severely impacted by pollution from factories that are located on riversides. Signing petitions to adjust how companies dump waste will improve water quality

    How is electricity generated where you live? How does it impact the environment, animals, and humans?

    In St. Louis, energy is generated through a mixture of coal, hydroelectric power, natural gas, nuclear and renewable resources. Due to how Urban of a city St. Louis is, this can take a significant toll on the animal population and even the human population.
