It creates a good family bond and everyone is having a good time laughing and joking and just having fun together.  It also teaches team work and sportsmanship.

I would get more sleep if I would set a certain amount of time to read before I go to sleep.  I will end up staying up for an extra hour or sometimes more reading a book if the book is really good.  In the past few days I have set a timer for 30 minutes and then I put the book down.

When you are walking by a stranger in the store or at park smile and say hello.  I made sure to walk over and introduce myself to my new neighbors when they moved in just too make them feel welcome.  I always wave and say hi to my neighbors when I see them outside.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Nature Spend Time Outside
Rachel Carson said that we need the beauty and mysteries of the natural world for our spiritual and emotional development. Does that ring true for you? What are the implications for a culture that spends most of its time indoors?

I feel it is very important to connect with nature and teach our children to enjoy and respect nature.  It is far more stimulating and enjoying to be out in nature then inside the home watching TV or playing video games or sitting on your phone.
