I am finding meditation more and more important with the negativity of election season, covid spikes, and colder temps surrounding me.  I have also made a huge effort to up my fruit and veggie intake!

How often do you meditate? and for how long? I feel as though I cannot concentrate when I try to meditate.

I try everyday to limit simple water wasting, such as, turn off water while brushing teeth, turn off shower while lathering hair, taking cooler 5 min showers, and being more mindful with my laundry & dishes

I took a lot of time for meditation this past weekend- went hiking multiple times out at Quarry Hill.  With teleworking now, which I love, I have much more screen time and find I need to get away from the screens that much more.  Whether just stepping away from screens or actually hiking, it is pure relaxation for the soul, which makes me better at my job all around!

I love this time of year!!!  I already hike as much as possible, but with all the negativity out there today I try to really focus on inner mindfulness.  I have been hiking at Quarry Hill Nature Park everyday during this nice weather, focusing on the magic of the moment!
