It is harder than it seems to buy clothing that is sustainable, but there are materials all around us in our daily lives that go unused that can be used to add a sense of style.....felt, cotton clothes that are worn out or out grown by children...etc...
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Food Meet My Local Farmers
When you know who produces your food, you are connecting personally to your complex regional food system. What are the advantages of knowing who produces your food and where it comes from? How can knowing their food producers enable someone to advocate for a better quality of life for those who produce their food, both near and far?

There are over 4 landfill areas with 15 minutes of where I reside outside of that I found that they are in the hilly less populated suburban areas.....the less wealthy parts of those cities seem to be the most affected.
