REFLECTION QUESTIONAction Track: Justice for the Whole Community Learn More about Food ApartheidWhat can lack of access to nutritious food affect a community? How can having access to nutritious food help a community become more resilient?
Mindy Montgomery 10/28/2020 12:12 PMI never really thought about the tie between food and oil and was struck by the statement I heard that if we took all of the trucks off the road grocery store shelves would be bare in three days. That's a scary thought. We definitely have to buy and source things more locally! -
REFLECTION QUESTIONWaste Go PaperlessReducing your paper mail can reduce mental clutter as well as physical waste -- by reducing what is coming in, you can reduce what is going into the recycling bin too. How does it make you feel? What is the next step you will take to reduce your waste?
Mindy Montgomery 10/28/2020 12:10 PMI'm SO excited I finally filled out all of the forms to opt-out of junk mail because I get a ridiculous amount each week and it is such a waste! -
Mindy Montgomery 10/28/2020 12:06 PMI'm kind of sad that today is the last day of the challenge, but am grateful for the lasting changes I've made (yay for reducing my junk mail and subscribing to clean energy)! -
