REFLECTION QUESTIONWaste Personal Waste AuditWhy is it often difficult to understand the impacts our purchases and waste have on other people, animals, and places?
Julie Jacobson 10/21/2020 9:09 AMI have recycled for over 30 years. This is a no-brainer for me. However there are some people that think it's a waste of time because they say much of it ends up in the landfill anyway. I persevere and keep going, no matter what. Also, I really, really hope they are wrong. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONTransportation Work From HomeIt takes the average worker in the United States 26 minutes to travel to work. One way to fix long commutes would be to make cities more affordable. An even simpler option: promote the use of telework. How have you used technology to replace in-person meetings or work this year?
Julie Jacobson 10/21/2020 9:08 AMWe use video calls all the time right now with COVID. I think they will replace many meetings we used to travel to Washington DC for, saving us all a lot of money, time, and energy. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONTransportation Conduct Virtual MeetingsHow can you ensure that your virtual meetings honor your values and your company's culture?
Julie Jacobson 10/21/2020 9:07 AMI try to be as professional as possible on video meetings, just as if I was in the office. -

Julie Jacobson 10/21/2020 9:06 AMMy motivators are better gas mileage (having to spend less money on gas) and a cleaner planet as a result of having hybrid vehicles. -
