I have donated a lot   of  books to the children’s home. I have also gotten rid of old clothes that don’t fit to the shelter for winter.

My daughter and I went shopping and she wanted to buy a crop top. I told her please make sure if you wear this dad doesn’t see you with skin showing your still a young lady. She got upset and put it back, I apologized if my words were too stern as I explained she is our little girl but I understand that she is getting older and I will allow her to grow and develop but not to much. She decided to get the crop and wear it with a spaghetti strap under it.

I realized she is growing up and I need to let her grow but also she knows she has boundaries as a 12 year old. Communicating and coming to at least an agreement was the key for both of us and dad!
