  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Simplicity Track My Purchases
What have you noticed about your purchases? Where are you inclined to make shifts, if any?

I've noticed that if I focus more efforts on where I am spending my money I am more conscious of what I am spending it on. For example, going out to eat is so simple to do but can add up very quickly. Looking at my bank account and realizing how much money is spent on eating out as well as how much money is typically wasted on groceries is eye opening.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Health Healthy Sleep
Consider how many hours of sleep you get now. How would you like to shift your sleep patterns? What are you finding works for you to be successful in this action?

Honestly the one thing that would help with my sleeping is putting the phone down 15-20 minutes before bed. It is very easy to get sucked into checking all of my social media accounts before bed which sometimes takes longer than needed. It also makes it harder to fall asleep if you are using your phone while you are trying to fall asleep.

How can you incorporate other personal values (like quality time with friends or spending time in nature) into your exercise routine?

Including my other personal values is easy for me as I have a dog and I love him. He loves getting outside and going for walks. He is a ball of energy and gets so happy and excited to go outside. He makes exercising fun and easy.

I feel more alive during the day when I am able to get an ample amount of sleep. Feel like I can sleep better at night.

Today I am grateful for sunshine, the accessibility to quality fruits and vegetables, FaceTime to communicate with family.

Today it was as simple as adding a banana to my morning smoothie and eating an orange instead of a protein bar.
