Historically, marginalized and low-income communities live closer to landfills, contributing to a multitude of health problems. I will find out how I can limit single-use items and do my best to limit the waste I generate. I will keep 3 container(s) out of the landfill each day.

After trying to commit to becoming more eco-friendly, I understand why it becomes really hard to live with people who don't have the same "eco-goals" as you. It's hard because you want them to join in with you but you can't force your ideas on people as well. It definitely becomes an internal dilemma.

I starting to realize that when you are choosing to go Ecofriendly, you giving up many things that just make life easy and that is why most people don't stick to eco-friendly choices. I feel like it is a convention to drink from a straw so everyone does it. When I'm making my eco-friendly discussion, I always shape my thought process in a way that is either " am I going to make a selfish decision or choose the environment" when I do this I always choose the environment because....duh.  But I wish others would try this framework, it might help you make the eco-friendly decision.
