REFLECTION QUESTIONTransportation Conduct Virtual MeetingsHow can you ensure that your virtual meetings honor your values and your company's culture?
Sam Makarczyk 10/29/2020 8:13 AMA major way virtual meeting can preserve the culture of your board is to be an active participant. Where you are being engaged and contributing to discussions and putting your opinion out there. It is also nice to but in fun breaks here and there where you get to socialize for a bit and then get back to business, so that your brain can have a little rest. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONSimplicity Limit Social MediaSocial media can keep us connected with loved ones, make us laugh, and help us to learn new things. It can also take more time than we realize or intend to give. After doing this action for a few days, how do you feel? What do you notice?
Sam Makarczyk 10/29/2020 8:10 AMTaking some time away from social media really just gives you a bit of a break from the craziness of the world today. While it can be good to know what's going on it can also lead to mental health affects, like stress due to you feeling not good with current news. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONSimplicity Eat MindfullyMindful eating is healthier for us than eating with distractions. How do your eating experiences differ when practicing mindfulness?
Sam Makarczyk 10/28/2020 11:13 PMWhen practicing mindfulness during eating it allows for better connection with those around you instead of being drawn to your screens and being antisocial. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONAction Track: Healing and Renewal Healthy SleepConsider how many hours of sleep you get now. How would you like to shift your sleep patterns? What are you finding works for you to be successful in this action?
Sam Makarczyk 10/28/2020 11:09 PMI try to get about 7 and a half hours of sleep, normally on school days I get from 6 and a half to 7ish sometimes getting that 7 1/2. On weekend I most definitely get over that 7 1/2. I would like to get more sleep on school days but still be productive with nightly homework. I have recently turned on a sleeping feature on my phone where it kinda locks down the phone and tries to get you to wind down and go to bed, and it works for the most part.
