I love the natural air, so the less heating and cooling I do, the better I feel.  And the more money I save, the more I like it!
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Waste Find Local Recycling Depots
Our ability to recycle certain things ebbs and flows based upon many factors, including market demand for recyclables. Luckily there are places that accept uncommon things to recycle or dispose of in a less harmful way. What did you find when looking for places to recycle items that can't be recycled in your curbside bin?

I found a drug and plastic container recycling facility.  Also an electronics facility and have used both to dispose of things that otherwise can't be recycled
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Waste Learn About & Practice Sustainable Fashion

Knowing how to sew has help me do this.  Adding or cutting off buttons, designs etc has expanded my wardrobe considerably.

I purchased meat from a local farm, Terrace Ridge Farm, that saved me money, shipping, and was 1/2 the price of meat at the market.
