  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Waste Use a Reusable Water Bottle
While water bottles are needed for health and safety in certain places, we can do more to reduce the unnecessary use of them. What are the barriers to you using reusable bottles and tap water instead of bottled water? How could you make this a permanent habit?

Our tap water doesn't always taste good. Having a pitcher with a filter at home to improve the quality and taste is helpful. (Maybe I'll look into an under the sink water filtration system too.)

Every year, your water supplier has to send you a report from sample tests they take in their market area. It is very informative. I detect a slight chlorine smell when I run water first thing in the morning. It's because the gas builds up overnight. See if running it a minute helps. If not, a basic filter can be installed under the sink. I have one under the kitchen sink, and it does make a difference.
