REFLECTION QUESTIONAction Track: Healing and Renewal ForgivenessHow has the process of forgiving, or contemplating forgiveness, benefited you?
Michelle Moritz 10/27/2020 11:05 AMForgiving others takes the burden and tension was off my shoulders. We cant be forgiven unless we are able to forgive. Unforgiveness creates stress, tension, and continued conflict. We can not be at peace with anything when these feelings are riddling our lives. To forgive is to live with love. If you live with love, your life will be more fulfilling and peaceful. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONAction Track: Healing and Renewal Healthy SleepConsider how many hours of sleep you get now. How would you like to shift your sleep patterns? What are you finding works for you to be successful in this action?
Michelle Moritz 10/27/2020 11:00 AMI would like to shift my sleep hours to go to bed earlier. I find that if I turn off all lights, electronics, and get the kids settled right after dinner, it is easier to get into bed earlier. Now that the days are shorter and it gets dark earlier, I think this will be even more helpful. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONAction Track: Healing and Renewal Go for a Daily Walk OutsideFresh air and movement are good for our entire being and can help us think more clearly and creatively. How does taking a walk each day affect yourself and/or your work?
Michelle Moritz 10/27/2020 10:59 AMTaking a walk gives me a change to "refresh". I can step away from the craziness and stress of any work situation and reevaluate it with a clear mind. Typically I can find a solution to any problem if I go on a walk or jog to work it out. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONAction Track: Healing and Renewal Joyful MovementWhat's your favorite activity(ies) in which you experience joy while being active and moving?
Michelle Moritz 10/27/2020 10:57 AMIt may sound strange, but I truly enjoy mucking the horse stalls. We have 16 horses, and being out there with them in the fresh air is so relaxing. The shoveling and racking is a great work out too. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONAction Track: Healing and Renewal Family Game HourHow does being playful with others enrich your life?
Michelle Moritz 10/15/2020 10:12 AMSpending quality time with my children is so rewarding. We can get away from the social media craziness and just truly enjoy whole hearted laughing, discussions and playing music. It feeds my soul. I love turning off the rest of the world so I can soak up the beautiful energy that my children have. The way they see the world is so pure. We should all take sometime and remember what it is like to just simply play and see the world the way our children do.
