An estimated 71% of seabirds and 30% of turtles have been found with plastics in their stomachs. When they ingest plastic, marine life has a 50% mortality rate. By asking for no straw when placing a drink order, I will keep 5 plastic straw(s) of out of the ocean each day.

    By leaving computer monitors on overnight, or not having them on energy saving modes, 9 million tons of carbon dioxide emissions are wasted every year!!!!

    Today I saw that during take-aways they prefer restaurant package than carrying their own containers, I felt the restaurant owners should take the initiative and stop food packages and ask the customers to bring their own containers. There are few places where they follow these methods but it was necessary for them to save package cost as small-business but dont you think even the well-known restaurants should start the same??

    Carry your own water-bottles, using boxes instead of package during take-aways, cloth bags instead of buying extra-plastic bags. These little things are going to make a lot of difference!!

    With work-life balance I was able to reduce screen-time, spend more time with family, go for a walk, spend some happy time with myself :)
