My church has joined several other local churches and created a food pantry outside our church. Filled with non perishable foods and toiletries free for all. Open 24/7. It is getting much use as many in our community have lost jobs due to COVID.

Redlining and denying POC the right to live in the suburbs back in the 20th century prevented them from having homes that could add to their net worth. Without equal opportunity for all, we cannot sustain our way of life.

Stasher silicone bags are on sale for Amazon Prime Days, today and tomorrow! These have never been on sale that I could find. Been using them for over two years. Perfect replacement for Ziploc bags. And better for the environment.

Cold front moved in last evening. Used my wood burning fireplace insert for the first time this season. It is EPA certified and has virtually no smoke. Much better for the environment than a traditional fireplace. It is also my heat backup in case the power goes out.
