France Poulain 10/26/2020 8:12 AMThere is a community pantry down the street from me that has a fridge, deep freezer, and shelving for non-perishables. I've donated to it a few times and it's amazing how many times in a single day it's emptied and re-stocked just by community members. A couple of local businesses also donate as well. I live in an inner city neighbourhood that is very accessible by transit. For a lot of people it's much easier than going to the food bank. It's also a great way to make sure that any food items you won't use go to someone who can and will use them.
