  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Community Research Voter Suppression
What are the ways in which voters are prohibited from or discouraged from voting in your region and/or state? What could be done to get rid of these barriers?

    Kisuini Saechao-Walker 10/28/2020 8:24 PM
The ways voters are prohibited from voting is that there could be a line to wait in for hours. Also, People could ask you who your voting for and if you choose differently from them, they could intimidate you to choose the other.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Action Track: Healing and Renewal Engage In Active Listening
What was it like to actively listen to someone? How did both people and the conversation(s) benefit from active listening?

    Kisuini Saechao-Walker's avatar
    Kisuini Saechao-Walker 10/28/2020 8:18 PM
The people and conversation both benefit active listening because they are telling you how there day went, or they just want to tell you something they have been meaning to tell someone.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION

  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Waste Personal Waste Audit
Why is it often difficult to understand the impacts our purchases and waste have on other people, animals, and places?

    Kisuini Saechao-Walker's avatar
    Kisuini Saechao-Walker 10/28/2020 5:41 PM
It's often difficult to understand because many of those actions are what people value.  One way in which the actions that cause global change are different from most of these is that the effects take decades to centuries to be realized.
