REFLECTION QUESTIONWaste Research Local Waste SitesIn what neighborhoods or areas of your region are landfills or other waste sites located? Which communities are most affected by these locations?
Jose Sauceda-Cornejo 10/28/2020 11:26 PMNot far from my neighborhood theres a big terrain of wasteland that has been unoccupied for years. This affects the community since the area can be turned into a homeless zone in which homeless people can go to and live peacefully. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONWaste Learn About & Practice Sustainable FashionHow can you express your personality, creativity, and values in ways that don't require fast fashion or buying more clothes and accessories?
Jose Sauceda-Cornejo 10/28/2020 11:23 PMYou can express these things by creating a unique accessory that you can wear. This will develop your skills and make you feel happier. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONWaste Find Local Recycling DepotsOur ability to recycle certain things ebbs and flows based upon many factors, including market demand for recyclables. Luckily there are places that accept uncommon things to recycle or dispose of in a less harmful way. What did you find when looking for places to recycle items that can't be recycled in your curbside bin?
Jose Sauceda-Cornejo 10/28/2020 11:20 PMI found an area were they recycle bikes. I thought it was weird but if you think about it's not that odd since in recycling those bikes newer bikes could me made in which are donated towards people. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONTransportation Research and Consider Switching to a Hybrid or Electric VehicleReducing (or eliminating) exhaust emissions and improving public health are two benefits of green vehicles. What other motivators inspire you to consider switching to a more fuel-efficient vehicle?
Jose Sauceda-Cornejo 10/28/2020 11:16 PMAnother motivator that will inspire me in switching is myself. In doing this switch I will have more respect towards myself in keeping our planet safer. -

Jose Sauceda-Cornejo 10/28/2020 11:13 PMBeing playful with others will enrich your life since it maintains healthier relationships and it also keeps a smile on your face. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONNature Learn About the Impact of Old RefrigerantsWhy are old refrigerant gases so harmful to our environment?
Jose Sauceda-Cornejo 10/28/2020 11:12 PMOld refrigerant gases are harmful to our environment since they damage the ozone layers. This is bad since the ozone layers help us from the sun's radiation but if they are damaged then radiation from the sun will affect us. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONNature Explore My AreaHow can spending more time outdoors enhance your sense of place -- your deep knowledge of and appreciation for your surroundings?
Jose Sauceda-Cornejo 10/28/2020 11:09 PMSpending more time outdoors makes me understand that we should admire our planet more by keeping it clean. By keeping our planet clean there will be less problems in the environment and people will be more healthier. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONAction Track: Justice for the Whole Community Watch a Documentary about Racial InjusticeWhat did you learn about racial injustice in the documentary(ies) you watched? How does what you learned connect to your understanding of sustainability?
Jose Sauceda-Cornejo 10/28/2020 11:05 PMWhat I learned is that racial injustice is the act in which a racial action is taken among a certain group of people. (This action is usually in the form of violence or slurs) What I learn connects to my understanding of sustainability since it helps me understand how people feel towards situations like these.
