I forgot to login but I swear I did not forget about my echochallenges. On Oct. 7th, I started off with easier tasks with the harder ones in conclusions. First things first, I had a stack of racial injustice movies to watch. The one I decided to watch for my one time action, was a movie called, "Just Mercy." About an African American Lawyer help an innocent African American get out of jail who was falsely accused. I highly recommend watching it; it's worth it.
Next up, I was working on my happiness. Even with the tough times going on, I took a moment and told myself at least three things I was grateful for. I was grateful to be alive at this moment, I was grateful to have a job to help me pay for my needs and sometimes thing that I want. And of them all, I'm grateful for the friends and family in my life.
As for exercising daily, I was dying to get back to this. I needed and wanted to get back in shape for SO many reasons. Mainly, to look good and feel good. I didn't get a chance to get to the gym. So I did home workouts instead, unfortunately. As soon as I hit the weights, it's game over.
And last but not least, healthy sleeping. Sounds pretty simple but believe it or not, I was struggling with this one. I've been having a hard time sleeping and ended being on my phone long nights. Well I decided to go bed a little earlier than before, put my phone away, and that was pretty much it. I've been improving on my sleep schedule, but still got some ways to go.
If I had one word of advice on these actions, don't be saying it's impossible when you know the task can be done. There will be some challenges without a doubt. But they can always improve you as a better person and prepare you for more obstacles coming your way.

    My EcoChallenges
    • Healthy Sleeping
Ever since the pandemic started and classes were switched to online, I've had trouble sleeping and getting less than 6 hours of sleep. Sleep is extremely important and it's for sure something I have to work on
    • Exercise Daily
Once again, ever since pandemic/covid came in, I've been struggling to stay in shape. And I wasn't very motivated to do at home workouts. Going to the gym, lifting weights, and shooting some hoops is my type of workout. The goal is to get back to that.
    • Happiness
Motivating myself and feeling good about myself is definitely something I need to work on.
    • Watching a documentary about racial injustices
It's been a very long time since I've watched a documentary about racial inequality; helpful to regain some knowledge from the past. Honestly, it should be more than a one time action. Maybe two-three times a week.
