REFLECTION QUESTIONSimplicity Family Game HourHow does being playful with others enrich your life?
Taylor Thompson 10/13/2020 1:13 PMIt brings about more happiness and helps build closer connections and relationships with the people you love and care about. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONTransportation Walk InsteadHalf of all trips made in the US are three miles or less; 72% of them are driven. Does this statistic describe your own transportation habits? If so, how might you incorporate more muscle-powered transportation in your daily life?
Taylor Thompson 10/13/2020 1:12 PMIf I were at home, this would describe my transportation habits. This is because the places I need to go are in areas that are unsafe for women and children to be walking by themselves, plus there are no pathways to get there and you end up walking on the side of the road if not on the road itself. At college I walk everywhere and I am definitely more active. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONWaste Learn About & Practice Sustainable FashionHow can you express your personality, creativity, and values in ways that don't require fast fashion or buying more clothes and accessories?
Taylor Thompson 10/13/2020 1:10 PMBy using my actions instead of physical things like clothing, like showing kindness and concern for others and actively trying to help make changes. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONWaste Use a Reusable Water BottleWhile water bottles are needed for health and safety in certain places, we can do more to reduce the unnecessary use of them. What are the barriers to you using reusable bottles and tap water instead of bottled water? How could you make this a permanent habit?
Taylor Thompson 10/13/2020 1:08 PMThe availability of water fountains with stations specifically for filling water bottles. I'll set a reminder to fill my reusable water bottle everyday first thing in the morning, and after lunch. Maybe also before bed.
