    I have had a lot of changes in the last week and finally scheduled an annual exam and reached out to schedule with a mental health professional.

    Today I submitted some intake forms to get scheduled to get an annual exam and complete that challenge!

    As I continue my mindfulness practices, I find myself more encouraged to find the root of problems I face personally rather than just being upset and putting it aside to think about later.

    Last night I spent extra time being mindful. My partner and I attended a coming out webinar in honor of National Coming Out Day. We spent time reflecting on our own experiences and sharing with each other. It was nice event that opened that space to mindful of a point of our lives we do not think about every day, but was important.

    Today I started looking into joining a CSA, but it looks as though I may be a little late to join one this year as many local farms end their programs in November. I did sign up to be notified for when one CSA  opens up 2021 registration. For now I will continue shopping at my closest farm store.

    So far doing the easy things is the most convenient, but going into spending time being mindful daily is going to be a challenge for me. I know going out of my comfort zone will be good for me so I endeavor to give it my best.

    Other things I can do to save energy is to open curtains and blinds to utilize the natural light instead of having the lights on.
