Myah Wehry 10/21/2020 8:44 PMI learned more from A Drop in the Ocean on how I can become more sustainable. Great blog website and store! -
REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth Healthy SleepConsider how many hours of sleep you get now. How would you like to shift your sleep patterns? What are you finding works for you to be successful in this action?
Myah Wehry 10/15/2020 9:12 AMTo be honest, sometimes I can stay up really late and be fine in the morning, sometimes not. Also, I love sleeping in when I can. What works for me depends on the day, really -
Myah Wehry 10/13/2020 8:30 PMToday, I really accomplished a lot and I feel great about myself. I got my workout in, worked, slept well, and hydrated myself with water from the fountain that can fill your water bottle! I still am trying to improve, though. I completely forgot my reusable container at work today and had to get food in a styrofoam container. Everyone makes mistakes, but the amount of guilt I feel from using styrofoam is crappy. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth Exercise DailyHow can you incorporate other personal values (like quality time with friends or spending time in nature) into your exercise routine?
Myah Wehry 10/12/2020 6:19 PMI can incorporate personal values by asking my roommate or another friend to go on a jog or walk with me! Hiking is also another great way to spend time with friends, while also getting the experience of nature, fresh air, and amazing views! -
Myah Wehry 10/12/2020 6:16 PMI haven't been keeping up with my Eco-challenge this past weekend. But I am starting fresh this week and am going to try to keep up! I have a lot of work to do, so it will be tough watching documentaries on racism and food sovereignty. I might watch some this weekend to earn some more points! -
REFLECTION QUESTIONWaste Use a Reusable MugMaybe you've heard how good it is to switch from a single use coffee cup to a reusable one, but it's just hard to make the switch. What stands in your way of making this a habit? By identifying the challenges, you can begin to work through them to have better success in taking this action. Knowing the difference you are making, how does it make you feel?
Myah Wehry 10/07/2020 11:54 AMI do use a reusable bottle for water, but when I want coffee from Starbucks or somewhere else on campus, it is hard to use a reusable cup due COVID-19 and new policies. I'm not sure how to go about this. I do use my french press in my dorm, but sometimes a nice coffee from Starbucks is a treat. Does anyone know if we can recycle Starbucks cups?
