    Nature Forage for My Food
People are motivated to forage for many different reasons: as a source for food, a means of income, to connect with nature, to participate in cultural tradition, transmitting specific ecological knowledge, or as a means of stewarding local and native plant populations are just a few examples. What is your chief motivation for foraging?

    Paula Zeitlin 10/28/2020 1:06 AM
Foraging is part of Finnish culture. In Finland, nature is not only wild, it’s free for everyone to enjoy, respectfully. The general public’s right allows an access to anyone living in or visiting Finland the freedom to roam the countryside, forage, fish with a line and rod, and enjoy the recreational use of natural areas. We call this “The Everyman’s Rights”, Jokamiehen oikeudet.

Calculating carbon emissions from activities is a necessary step to design an emission reduction strategy and  purchase equivalent carbon offsets.  We should always choose an offset provider with calculators that are reliable, accurate and transparent.

Our family has a new member, a puppy called Alf, and it really have made me to spend more time outdoors.  Spending time outdoors have helped me to focus more on my work.  It has been pretty shitty weather the last couple of days and it has been quite hard to appreciate my surroundings, but today when I can at least imagine that sun exist.. it feels better to be outdoors.
