REFLECTION QUESTIONAction Track: Healing and Renewal Go for a Daily Walk OutsideFresh air and movement are good for our entire being and can help us think more clearly and creatively. How does taking a walk each day affect yourself and/or your work?
Ganesh Denduluri 10/28/2020 11:51 AMTaking a walk everyday really makes me forget all of the stress I had throughout the day. The toxins in my body slowly release from there and calms my mind down. Walking helps me reset my brain after a stressful situation. Seeing other people while on my walk makes me feel better. Walking also improves the way I sleep at night. Days I don't go for a walk I tend to not sleep well than days I do go for a walk. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth Take ControlHow do environmental health, community health, and your personal health intersect?
Ganesh Denduluri 10/27/2020 8:29 AMI believe all are interconnected. Environmental health for say is like greenery in the trees, clean air, etc. When I go on nature walks, I primarily go to see the greenery in the trees and enjoy nature. If trees aren't blooming and the air isn't clean enough the breath in, that forces me to stay indoors overall affect my personal health. As community health, I like surround myself around positive people to keep myself positive. I believe the surroundings you're in affect the influence you will have. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth Exercise DailyHow can you incorporate other personal values (like quality time with friends or spending time in nature) into your exercise routine?
Ganesh Denduluri 10/27/2020 8:25 AMI like running with friends at nearby parks. Taking a nice jog talking with friends and running outside is a very good feeling. Not only your getting exercise and keeping your heart rate up, you're also enjoying nature and socializing. Another one for me is playing team sports. Playing basketball with my friends is really fun and competitive. I can really see the effect throughout the day when I exercise. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth HappinessHow does/can practicing gratitude keep you centered and motivated to work for a better world?
Ganesh Denduluri 10/27/2020 8:19 AMI believe being happy is the best feeling anyone can have. Happiness can come in many ways depending on the person. For me, I feel happy when I'm with my family or engaging in any physical activity. To answer the question, I believe when your mood is happy and elevated, you'll be able to focus better, experience less anxiety and really embrace what you're doing. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONAction Track: Healing and Renewal Core ValuesWhat are your top 3-5 core values? How did you narrow it down to those as being your core values?
Ganesh Denduluri 10/27/2020 7:50 AMI have many core values to keep myself disciplined and happy. The first one is I'm very committed to keep my body healthy. I like to wake up early and get a workout in. My second core value is I like to give respect to everyone. My third one is I enjoy working to succeed in my goals. All of these 3 core values I hold really elevate my mood. -
Ganesh Denduluri 10/19/2020 8:16 AMI've committed myself to keep my body moving and engaged for 45 minutes a day. By keeping my blood flowing and my heart rate up at least once a day, not only will my mood change but functionality wise, I will be more efficient when getting tasks done. Saying all of this, today I've kept my body in motion for 45 mins by walking, and going grocery shopping and mowing my lawn.
