  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Community Support Native Communities
Indigenous speaker and activist Winona LaDuke says that, "most indigenous ceremonies, if you look to their essence, are about the restoration of balance — they are a reaffirmation of our relationship to creation. That is our intent: to restore, and then to retain balance and honor our part in creation." Why is balance important to sustainability?

How do you think climate change will affect your region’s water supply? Think about the effects of weather, storms, salinity, and sea level rise, among other changes. How can you find out more about climate change’s impact to your region's water?

    Camille Gaynor 10/14/2020 8:02 PM
Climate change will affect our region's water supply because if there is less rainfall or extreme heat then we will have less water in the water tables underground.  To find out more about climate change you can look on Google or Youtube.
