I decided to re-calculate my carbon footprint after having some energy efficiency upgrades to our home and purchasing my first vehicle.

Interestingly, despite working remotely and actually driving very little during the week, my daily transportation emissions are now my highest source of emissions by far. The energy saved at home did not even come close to balancing the new emissions associated with driving.

This goes to show how emissions intensive personal vehicles are - the case for transitioning to EV's and active and/or public  transportation means is strong!
