REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth HappinessHow does/can practicing gratitude keep you centered and motivated to work for a better world?
Zenab Haq 10/28/2020 1:00 PMWhen something goes wrong, it doesn't hit as hard because you've been actively being grateful for what you have. It also opens your eyes to what others don't have and make you want to equal the playing field. -

REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth Exercise DailyHow can you incorporate other personal values (like quality time with friends or spending time in nature) into your exercise routine?
Zenab Haq 10/28/2020 12:59 PMHave a workout partner. Go for a walk in a park or ride bikes. Exercise together, not just meet up to eat and drink. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONNature Explore My AreaHow can spending more time outdoors enhance your sense of place -- your deep knowledge of and appreciation for your surroundings?
Zenab Haq 10/28/2020 12:58 PMIt will make me value the environment even more because no one wants to be out in unhealthy air or a place littered with trash. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONSimplicity Research My Investment PortfolioIn what ways can you increase the positive impacts and decrease the negative impacts of your financial investments?
Zenab Haq 10/28/2020 12:57 PMContinue to look at what is in my portfolio and adjust it accordingly. Take a more hands-on approach. -
REFLECTION QUESTION

REFLECTION QUESTIONTransportation Work From HomeIt takes the average worker in the United States 26 minutes to travel to work. One way to fix long commutes would be to make cities more affordable. An even simpler option: promote the use of telework. How have you used technology to replace in-person meetings or work this year?
Zenab Haq 10/28/2020 12:56 PMWith the pandemic, everything has been virtual. Using Skype, Teams, and Zoom have helped me stay connected. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONWaste Use a Reusable MugMaybe you've heard how good it is to switch from a single use coffee cup to a reusable one, but it's just hard to make the switch. What stands in your way of making this a habit? By identifying the challenges, you can begin to work through them to have better success in taking this action. Knowing the difference you are making, how does it make you feel?
Zenab Haq 10/28/2020 12:55 PMI'm good with using a reusable mug because I don't drink coffee daily anyways since I don't want that act of drinking coffee to perk me up to become a habit. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONWaste Use a Reusable Water BottleWhile water bottles are needed for health and safety in certain places, we can do more to reduce the unnecessary use of them. What are the barriers to you using reusable bottles and tap water instead of bottled water? How could you make this a permanent habit?
Zenab Haq 10/28/2020 12:54 PMThe barriers are the uncertainty of the quality of water out of the tap. The solution is get a filtration system on the kitchen sink or just continuing to use the filtered water from my fridge. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONWaste Find Local Recycling DepotsOur ability to recycle certain things ebbs and flows based upon many factors, including market demand for recyclables. Luckily there are places that accept uncommon things to recycle or dispose of in a less harmful way. What did you find when looking for places to recycle items that can't be recycled in your curbside bin?
