I found about Momentum Enterprises and the MERGE family of enterprises through researching local recycling depots. They comprise three social enterprises (Second Chance Recycling, Furnish Office & Home and Rebuild Resources).  MERGE operates these three sustainable, social enterprise businesses that empower and provide transitional employment and job training for adults with significant barriers to typical employment. Many of the transitional trainees are in recovery from substance abuse, many have felony convictions, most have limited work history, and virtually all are living in poverty. Trainees learn marketable job and technical skills as well as how to resolve conflicts, communicate professionally, maintain a positive attitude and make a true contribution in the workplace.
