Alina Lenar 10/26/2020 7:40 AMActually this was a positive start to every day. To reflect re-center myself, and overall help be kind to others. -

REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Watch a Documentary about Food SovereigntyHow does food sovereignty address the complex transition from localized food systems to modern global food systems?
Alina Lenar 10/19/2020 8:38 AMFood sovereignty is the right of people to healthy and culturally appropriate food produced through sustainable methods. Unfortunately the world isn't designed for crops and animals to grow or exist in abundance in all areas where humans exist. Luckily through globalization we live in a world where transportation to other parts of the world is possible at expedient methods. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONTransportation Drive LessHow has your access to various kinds of transportation throughout your life influenced your current attitudes about transportation and your transportation behavior?
Alina Lenar 10/15/2020 10:01 AMLuckily I live in a major metropolitain area in which the access to public transportation is plentiful, I am very fortunate. I am not scared to use public transportation in new cities, because I understand how the system works! -
REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth HappinessHow does/can practicing gratitude keep you centered and motivated to work for a better world?
Alina Lenar 10/15/2020 10:00 AMGratitude allows you to remember the little daily positives instead of dwelling on the negatives. It's important to remember your gratitude, and the gratitude you demonstrate to someone may completely turn their day around! -
REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth Exercise DailyHow can you incorporate other personal values (like quality time with friends or spending time in nature) into your exercise routine?

REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Weekly Meal PlanningAn average American throws out about 240 lbs of food per year. The average family of four in the US spends $1,500 a year on food that they throw out. Does this surprise you? Where would you rather use this money?
Alina Lenar 10/07/2020 10:49 AMI am not surprised, just based on the amount of food I end up throwing out, because it goes bad before I am able to use it. Or I am able to use some of it but not all of it before it goes bad. I would rather use that money on a family vacation, but one of the problems is we aren't able to buy smaller portions the minimum we have to but at the grocery store we don't necessarily use. (A bunch of cilantro when you only need a handful)
