REFLECTION QUESTIONWaste Use Reusable BagsWhat do you do if you find yourself in the situation of needing a bag for items but don't have a reusable one with you or aren't allowed to use the one you brought? Carry things out in your hands? In a cart? Accept a disposable one? If you find yourself in this position often, what system could you put in place to try to create a successful habit of not using plastic bags?
Sara Martinez 10/27/2020 5:39 PMFor me, I carry my items out of the store if I don't have my reusable bag or if I am not allowed to use one. If the store has a cart, I will just put the items back into the cart and take them to my car where my bags are. Love that I don't have soooo many plastic bags around my house. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth ForgivenessHow has the process of forgiving, or contemplating forgiveness, benefited you?
Sara Martinez 10/27/2020 5:38 PMI am not going to lie, it is really hard to let go of things that you held onto for so long. This journey has made me feel lighter. I feel less stressed and I have learned that it wasn't intended to be personal. It is nice to not have to be angry or upset with someone when you see them. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONAction Track: Healing and Renewal Go for a Daily Walk OutsideFresh air and movement are good for our entire being and can help us think more clearly and creatively. How does taking a walk each day affect yourself and/or your work?
Sara Martinez 10/27/2020 5:36 PMI love walking with my kid and my husband. With both or with just one of them. It is nice to just walk and talk. The fresh air is a nice break from sitting at home doing work. I feel more energized to work the next day because walking helps get me tired. I want to go to sleep after walking.
