    On the last day of my Eco Challenge, I spent probably 75% of the day in my favorite place: The Mt. Hood National Forest! Unfortunately while hiking I realized that I had not followed all 7 principles of LNT, which was one of my other challenges, and was unable to finish the challenge with all 3 of my daily actions. Still, it was a great time outside and a great way to celebrate the more successful moments of this challenge.

    Throughout the Eco Challenge I've found that the activities where I can be outside and productive are most enjoyable to me. Being outside is time where I want to relax, but if I can pair it with a job, exercise, study time, etc., it makes that time much more meaningful to me.

    Today I volunteered with the Mt. Hood Institute to clean our community of Government Camp. We started at 9am and went all the way until noon; the perfect combination of exercise, taking care of the planet, and connecting socially.

    Yesterday I added a new goal to my ecochallenge actions: I am now striving to eat at least 2 whole food meals each day. For breakfast I had multigrain cereal with coconut milk, and for lunch I had a garden salad with farm fresh veggies.

    Today I washed my car while jamming out to a new playlist! Beautiful day to be out before we get MORE rain.

    On a rainy day I blasted some Marvin Gaye and moved joyfully around the house while cleaning.

    Today I went on a 3.5 mile hike in the Mt. Hood National Forest; trying to enjoy as much time as possible in the outdoors moving my body while the weather is still nice!
