    Did a really nice little hike at the Coulee Experimental Forest with my girls today!

    I do well with getting to bed, but some nights are more difficult to keep sleep with my 2 year old!  If I get to bed a bit earlier, I can certainly get more sleep.  I also try to get up early to have some quiet time.

    There certainly are many things in the world right now that are not in a good place.  Focusing on the positive aspects can help us remember that we are part of something much bigger.

    Nature is my sanctuary!  Having two small kids makes me really enjoy the outdoors and all it has to offer.   We are trying to teach them the importance of biodiversity and the positive aspect nature has on our mental health!

    Being a full time stay at home mom and a full time faculty member has its challenges.  I am currently enrolled in a "Meaning of Motherhood" online course that has been teaching me strategies to grapple with these identities, and has allowed me to speak with other moms about these same struggles.
