Have you tried using most of your water twice! How do you do this?

On NPR today they were talking to a man from a nonprofit that helps to finance solar panels. Financing grey water systems could be another project. Especially in Austin since we are a water collection zone.

You could install a grey water system!  I'm sure it wouldn't be hard to find businesses in your area that could help you with this.

I'm starting to think the biggest challenge of the EcoChallenge might be to get the whole family on board.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Waste Learn About & Practice Sustainable Fashion
How can you express your personality, creativity, and values in ways that don't require fast fashion or buying more clothes and accessories?

My yard is filling up with live oak tree leaves that don't compost well. How can I use them to create fashionable clothes that express a message of somberness appropriate for these dark times?
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Food Choose Organic Ingredients
Many people say that “you can’t feed the world with just organic food.” How would you respond to that statement?

    Dawn Scott's avatar

If the demand for organic food becomes greater than the demand for inorganic food, the stores will buy organic and the farmers will produce organic.

And in the process, maybe define "organic" better so we all are on the same page with the terminology.
