Leigh Wheeler 10/28/2020 10:27 PMCooper enjoyed his walk today. We saw several dogs, lots of Halloween decorations and chatted with a BDS Inspector. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONSimplicity De-Clutter My HomeHow can you prevent yourself from accumulating more things in the future?
Leigh Wheeler 10/27/2020 4:05 PMThat is a difficult question for someone who has many craft hobbies that need various raw materials. To keep the collections manageable I am learning to evaluate the projects more, and estimate time required for completion. But honestly having the raw materials to make things is a happy place. I have less problems with other stuff. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONAction Track: Healing and Renewal Joyful MovementWhat's your favorite activity(ies) in which you experience joy while being active and moving?

Leigh Wheeler 10/27/2020 4:00 PMThe tomatoes are coming to an end. I will miss tomato salad until next year. -
Leigh Wheeler 10/27/2020 3:59 PMIt's really starting to get chilly, and with that East Wind, gardening is not nearly as much fun. -
Leigh Wheeler 10/27/2020 3:58 PMTrainer workout!!! He's got new exercises for us today. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONSimplicity Track My PurchasesWhat have you noticed about your purchases? Where are you inclined to make shifts, if any?
Leigh Wheeler 10/27/2020 3:56 PMI notice that things that seem really interesting or desirable in the moment feel less so later. Now I leave things in my cart for 24 hours. If I can remember to go back the next day then maybe it is important enough to buy. Usually it isn't. But putting it in the cart makes me happy enough in the moment. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONWater Mulch the Base of Trees and PlantsWhere are your nearest natural bodies of water? How might they be affected by runoff?
Leigh Wheeler 10/27/2020 3:52 PMMy nearest body of water is the Columbia river. It gets runoff from a huge watershed basin. The Willamette River empties into it.

Leigh Wheeler 10/12/2020 8:29 AMThe last of the tomatoes are ripening. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONNature Tend a GardenHave you ever had a significant experience in nature that altered your perspective or focus? If so, please describe it.
Leigh Wheeler 10/08/2020 10:08 AMI had an active childhood. We biked, my dad took us skiing, hiking, camping and sailing. We built tree forts and played outside all the time. When we moved to Oregon, there was a field to tube down when it snowed. I like being outside and gardening better than being in the house cleaning.
